After two Belgian preliminary rounds, the B-Jazz International Contest will kick off with the grand finale at Jazz in 't Park. On September 7, 8 and 9, you can see and hear two finalists per day playing in the Voorhavenpark in Ghent. Besides these young talents, the festival presents the best of contemporary jazz, including its many subgenres. And completely free of charge!
The B-Jazz finalists are: Symbiosis 5 (Hungary), Urban Quartet (Italy), Anti-Panopticon (Belgium/Netherlands), Peter Willems Trio (Netherlands), Elias D'hooge Trio (Belgium) and Sebastian Spanache (Romania).
Thursday, Sept. 7: Symbiosis 5 (6 p.m.) and Urban Quartet (7:15 p.m.)
Friday, Sept. 8: Anti-Panopticon (6 p.m.) and Peter Willems Trio (7:15 p.m.)
Saturday, September 9: Elias D'hooge Trio (6 p.m.) and Sebastian Spanache (7:15 p.m.)
