Lennert Baerts

Lennert Baerts studied in the Jazz Department of the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp.

He played in trio with Jos Machtel (b) and Jesse Dockx (drs), with Flashtime trio (Rob Vanspauwen, bass, and Gert-Jan Dreessen (drs), the Lieven Cambré Quintet with a.o. Bram Weijters and Piet Verbist.

He formed Anti-Panopticon in 2019 with pianist Floris Kappeyne (NL), bassist Tijs Klaassen (NL) and drummer Jesse Dockx (BE).

He also had the opportunity to play a.o. with the WE Big Band and the Michel Herr Positive Tentet.
