Jazz Station Big Band

An unmissable presence on the national and international scene, the Jazz Station Big Band has, over the years, become an integral part of Brussels’ heritage. Acclaimed by the press and recognized by its peers, the big band has released several albums on the labels Igloo, Hypnote Records, and soon on Step By Records.

Sustaining a monthly residency in a club (the Jazz Station) for nearly twenty years had never been seen before in Belgium. But that’s not all: many festivals and external venues call upon the big band, which also takes the opportunity to collaborate with exceptional guests. From Dinant to Dubai, they have crossed paths with, among others, Kenny Werner, Grégoire Maret, Jason Rebello, Emil Viklicky, David Linx…

It even seems that the band, now reaching its artistic maturity, is only at the genesis of its story. Indeed, their sound is now immediately recognizable, not only due to the unique alchemy between musicians considered the cream of the European crop, but also thanks to the signature of their arrangers. Do not be mistaken: even if this big band may give the impression of a certain Belgian lightness, sophistication and deep emotions are always inherent to their music. Tireless, the Jazz Station Big Band has not finished making people talk about them.
