Peter Delannoye

Peter (°1986) is completing his studies at the Rotterdam Conservatory CODARTS (NL) were he is taught by Ilja Reijngoud and Bart Van Lier. Last year he ended his Bachelor studies succesfully at the Lemmens Institute of Leuven (B), where his teacher was Lode Mertens.
He also took lessons from Eric Vloeimans, Ron Van Rossum, Pierre Van Dormael, Frank Vaganée and Ben van den Dungen. He took workshops from Stéphane Galland, Nelson Veras, Magic Mallik, Bill Carrothers, Dré Pallemaerts and Jozef Dumoulin.

Peter has his own Quintet in cooperation with Toni Vitacolonna, "DelVitaGroup". Steven Delannoye (s), Bart van Caenegem (p), Janos Bruneel (b) and Toni Vitacolonna (d) are members. Next to his freelance performances he works as a sidemen in several bands with different styles: Nilfisq (fushion/funkband), "TheTuesdayNightOrchestra"(bigband), T-unit 7, Free Breathing ensemble.

Peter plays and played with different musicians such as Nick Thys, Toots Thielemans, Bart Van Caenegem, Lionel Beuvens, BrusselsJazzOrchestra, Steven Delannoye,Christian Mensoza, Ewout Pierreux, Louis Favre, Joachim Badenhorst, Kurt van Herck, Bruno Vansina, Tom van Dyck, Janos Bruneel, Diedrik Boyen, Phillip De Schutter, Toon van Dionant, Erwin Vann, Wim Eggermont,..
