Between 2012 and 2014, Steven was 'Artist in Residence' at the KU Leuven.
In 2016, he was invited by Gent Jazz to colour the whole evening with his projects on the Garden Stage.
Over the past ten years, Delannoye's personal projects have included:
the 'New York trio' with bassist Desmond White and drummer Jesse Simpson, with guest saxophonist Frank Vaganée,
a duo with contemporary classical cellist and improviser Lode Vercampt,
a duo with Italian pianist Nicola Andrioli (Philip Catherine, Kurt Rosenwinkel),
and a trip North with guitarist Reinier Baas, drummer Mark Schilders and trumpeter Jean-Paul Estiévenart, under the band name 'Brandhaard'. With 'Brandhaard', Delannoye played between 2015 and 2019 at Jazz Brugge, the main stage of the Brussels Jazz Weekend, Gent Jazz and the Edinburgh Jazz Festival.
Steven Delannoye is tenor saxophonist and resident arranger with the Jazz Station Big Band in Brussels.
Steven is known across the board for his modern, energetic sound, with well thought-out interactions, preferably in the corners of the musical parameters.
