Thomas Champagne - Keep it Up
After "Sweet Day" in 2017 and "Tide" in 2021, Thomas Champagne Random House comes back with "Keep it Up". A new album that contrasts with its predecessor for its well-crafted conception and sensitive tonalities. The musicians know each other and enjoy playing together, and you can feel it!
The album kicks off with Uncertainties, a melodic, pop-tinged embrace, before moving on to Keep it Up, modern jazz with a swirling groove. Along the way, we travel between open, improvised atmospheres (Interlude 3), through rock energy (P or E ), to end with a dialogue between the two horns Thomas Champagne and Adam O'Farrill (One).
This album is now by French trumpeter Pierre-Antoine Savoyat and Ghent drummer Yves Peeters. It's a new turn, a new incarnation, a new band for Keep it Up!
Bleu Dans Vert
Bleu Dans Vert was a graphic and web design studio founded in 2018. The company has expanded its activities to become a publishing house as well, launching these first two books. Its catalog currently includes nearly ten titles and has plenty of book projects in the pipeline. Today, Bleu Dans Vert is turning its attention to music and becoming a label by launching Thomas Champagne's new album, Keep it Up.
