Stage Jazz au Vert 2024

For almost forty years, curious musicians, future stars and everything in-between have been meeting for the summer Jazz au Vert camp. Thanks to a team of eclectic teachers sharing their knowledge and conducting ensembles in preparation of a marathon concert at the end of the workshop, this week sums up what this music represents: conviviality, rigour, excitement, short nights as well as human and musical encounters … In addition to the main classes, various workshops and activities are proposed as well as the creation of an ephemeral Big Band that swings like no other! All this in a unique atmosphere that is both studious and festive!

Lessons and activities : 

Instrument lessons (double bass, drums, electric bass, guitar, piano, saxophones, flutes, clarinets, trumpet, trombone, voice, violin)
Ensemble classes
Workshops (African music, big band, blues workshop,improvisation workshop, listening and blues/jazz history, rhythm, workshop vocal)
Harmony classes (beginner’s, intermediary and advanced level)
Jam sessions (every evening)
Concerts by teachers and students (open to all)
Possibility of harmonica, accordion, vibraphone… classes in related instrument lessons.
