Call for artists for Propulsion #3
For all jazz musicians from the Grand Est (France), the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and French-speaking Belgium, applications are now open for the third edition of Propulsion!
Propulsiopn offers 2 courses: PropulsionWOMEN and PropulsionBANDS. Both offer specific support to jazz project leaders in the cross-border region. PropulsionWOMEN is a pathway for experimentation, PropulsionBANDS is a pathway for implementation.
It is possible to apply for both programmes.
1. PropulsionWOMEN
A total of 1 winner from the Grand Est region, 1 winner from Luxembourg and 1 winner from French-speaking Belgium will receive support.
Eligibility requirements :
- be a jazz or related musician
- wish to try their hand at project leadership, and demonstrate the potential and steps required to do so
- live in the Grand Est region, Luxembourg or French-speaking Belgium
- have a minimum level of French B2 to follow courses given in French
- make themselves available and show a real commitment to following the coaching programme
2. PropulsionBANDS
After selection, 1 group from the Grand Est, 1 group from Luxembourg and 1 group from French-speaking Belgium will receive support.
Eligibility criteria :
- be a group up to a quintet with a jazz and related music project
- the group must live mainly in the Grand Est region, Luxembourg or French-speaking Belgium
- have at least 20 minutes of original music ready to be recorded
- be in the process of becoming professional (pre-emergence profile preferred)
- make themselves available and show a real commitment to following the coaching process.
