After ‘Sweet Day’ in 2017 and ‘Tide’ in 2021, Thomas Champagne Random House returns with ‘Keep it Up’.
The album kicks off with Uncertainties, a melodic, pop-tinged embrace, before moving on to Keep it Up, modern jazz with a swirling groove. Along the way, we travel from open, improvised atmospheres (Interlude 3), through rock energy (P or E ), to a dialogue between the two blowers Thomas Champagne and Adam O'Farrill (One).
The album now features French trumpeter Pierre-Antoine Savoyat and drummer Yves Peeters from Ghent. It's a new turning point, a new incarnation, a new band for Keep it Up!
