Music, and especially Jazz, because it is improvised, is a series of impulses and "reactions".
Bop, in slang, means to dance but also to move. The "Bop" musical movements in history have this particularity: a determining role of the drums and a rich harmony, first tonal, with Be-Bop and then modal with Hard-Bop.
The Soft-Bop of the "Trippers", is part of this continuity, with the particularity of not using the drums and leaving the rhythmic role to three harmonic instruments: the alto sax, the guitar and the double bass.
Resolutely acoustic, the trio plays with the "Bops" codes, whether they are "Be" or "Hard". The result is a colorful and expressive music
