Education

Maxime Blésin started playing the guitar at the age of 14.

After finishing high school, he left his native Belgium to study in Brazil at the age of 18 and studied at “Escola Ian Guest de aperfeicoamento musical” in Rio de Janeiro with teachers like Nelson Faria (The Brazilian guitar book, Sheer music), Billy Teixeira, Marisa Gandelmann,…

Back in Belgium, he studied Jazz in Antwerp with Pierre Vandormeal, Hans Van Oost and Karl Van Deun.

After finishing his educational experience, he moved to USA, New York and Boston where he studied with Jon Damian.

He studied singing as an autodidact.

He also works as a sound engineer and has recorded or produced more than 40 albums.

As a  true music lover, his influences range from traditional and modern Jazz, Brazilian Music, Funk to Rap and French Impressionist music...

Maxime has produced credits, jingles, etc, ... for RTBF, RTL-TVI, France Bleue and advertising music, as well as film music: "Gaspard" by Eric Blésin and "Pickles" by Manuella Damiens .

He participated as a musical coach for actor François Damiens on the film "Les Cowboys" by Thomas Bidegain. ( Cesar nomination in 2016 for “ best first movie ” )

He produces and composes French pop for the singer Afy. Has its own label: Orfena Music

He is a leader, composer and arranger for the Dinant Jazz Orchestra, a mini big band of musicians based in Belgium, in collaboration with the Dinant festival, and which invites internationally renowned musicians.
