Elsiris’ repertoire includes original compositions by Jasmien, with influences from Scandinavia. As the bandleader and pianist, she brings melancholic, sometimes fragile melodies to life, using silence and space thoughtfully to draw listeners in and make them lose track of time. The music can also become powerfully intense when needed. Pierre-Antoine Savoyat weaves beautiful colors and soundscapes with his warm flugelhorn tones and unique electronic effects, adding a deeper layer to the sound. Élie Gouleme’s drumming complements the band’s sound beautifully, offering both subtle and strong, vibrant rhythms. Together, they form a cohesive entity where improvisation can be both playful and profound.
