Boris Schmidt Band CD release ‘Here’

After the release of their first album and a beautiful JazzTour as a quartet, now is the time to present the next record, this time as a sextet, from the Boris Schmidt Band. Entering the world of Boris Schmidt is first of all entering a velvet setting where each note is light, subtle, round and whole. Behind a nonchalance which is only apparent, a very great rigor and skillfully measured precision are quickly revealed which give the whole a feeling of harmony and quiet strength. By expanding the line-up with Ana Rocha on vocals and Martin Salemi on piano, the artist gives himself more varied arrangement possibilities. Continuing from the last opus, come and discover these original compositions enriched with new rhythms and sound colors.
