Kenny Jeanney recently completed a Masters degree in Jazz at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, after a stint at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris. He followed during his studies the teaching of Sylvain Beuf, François Théberge and recently Steve Houben.

This Brussels' resident co-lead with guitarist Matteo Carola the quartet Saying Somethin' since 2012 where they re-read together the forgotten repertoire of the unsung composers of the 50's-60's. At the same time they founded the Duo Gnocchi where they play a varied repertoire ranging from Tristano School (W.Marsh-L.Konitz-R.Ball, ...) to Duke Ellington to Tom Jobim and Luiz Bonfá.

He has perfomed in many festivals like Jazz à Beaune, A Vaulx Jazz, Festival Comblain-la-Tour (1st prize Young Talents Contest 2012), Brussels Jazz Marathon (audience prize at the 2008 Xl jazz competition), Open Jazz Festival, Ça Jazz à Woluwe, Festival du Monastier, Orléans Jazz Festival, Jazz à Vannes, Rhino Jazz Festival, Jazz à Vienne, etc…
He is also lead alto in The Amazing Keystone Big Band where he had opportunity to play with, from three years in this Lyon's orchestra, Michel Hausser, Rhoda Scott, Liz McComb, Bill Mobley, Ingrid & Christine Jensen, Cecil Mclorin-Salvant and Quincy Jones as guests.
