
The August residential jazz course in Gaume
Come and practice jazz with a team of professional musicians during an intense week in the heart of the Gaume region and experience the 41st edition of the Gaume Jazz Festival from the inside!
This residential jazz course is for you if you're an amateur musician, if you go to an academy, a conservatory or an amateur musical group (any genre: brass bands, rock groups, etc.), if you want to discover new musical spaces, broaden your jazz practice or meet new friends to share the pleasure of playing together!
The Gaume jazz course in a nutshell:
- A week's introduction to and improvement in jazz for boarders and day students in Virton
- Aimed at amateur musicians*: teenagers and adults aged 12 and over (*Minimum 4 years playing an instrument / All instruments accepted!)
- Dates: from Sunday 3 to Sunday 10 August 2025
- With concerts on Saturday 9 on the festival stage at Rossignol (included: 3-day pass and shuttles)
- Where: ISF Virton - 2, rue de Montmédy - 6760 VIRTON - Belgium
The teaching team consists of:
- Quentin Liégeois: guitar

- Michel Mainil: saxophone, flute and clarinet
- Tom Bourgeois: saxophone
- Pierre Malempré: trumpet, trombone & other brass instruments
- Bilou Doneux: drums, percussion
- Fabian Fiorini: piano, keyboard
- Laurent Blondiau: group workshops
