A bridge between Tunisia and Belgium
At the occasion of the Jazz International Day, end of April, a new partnership was announced between Jazzit Records, Tunisia’s first jazz label, and the 'igloo' label, one of the most important labels in Europe, founded in Belgium in 1978.
This partnership was born thanks to the impetus of the Wallonia-Brussels General Delegation in Tunisia to bring together Daniel Sotiaux, founder and president of igloo, and Malek Lakhoua, founder of Jazzit Records, aims to create both technical and artistic collaborations focused on the development of exchanges between the Tunisian and Belgian jazz scene and the promotion
of artists between the two shores of the Mediterranean.
