Maxime Blésin Quintet

The swinging young Belgian / French quintet of guitarist Maxime BLÉSIN. They met during the sessions of the Calvi Jazz Festival and got together to form a cooking band in the post bop idiom, playing originals and a selection of jazz standards.
The band played in many clubs and festivals, a.o. Lundis d'Hortense, Brussels Jazz Marathon, etc...

The quintet has recorded a first album in '99, simply titled Maxime BLÉSIN Quintet (Organic Records), and appeared in many festivals and clubs in Belgium and France.
A second album was released in June 2002 under the title "Bowling Bowl" (Igloo Igl 161)
