Born in New York City, this guitar/drums collaboration between Samuel Ber and Todd Neufeld found on first meeting deeply shared values – music as a painting of asymmetrical shapes, music as a physical act which simultaneously reveals and creates time, and the reach beyond and into intentionality. The access to both poise and letting go immediately felt…Right. Emerging now from a period of distance and change, the duo focuses on resonance as a dynamic, but also two things happening at once as well as one thing happening at once, and letting those pesky hierarchies and distinctions of rhythm and melody be at play.
