Gaume Jazz Festival - Rossignol Tintigny - August 7–9, 2026
The Gaume Jazz Festival is hosting its 42nd edition!
When the Gaume Jazz Festival was founded in 1985, no one could have imagined the scale and significance the event would take on, not only in Belgium but also in the life of European jazz and, more broadly, in the history of the modern jazz scene. With an inspiring 1985–2024 guestbook and 40 consecutive editions, guided by a passion for music and an awareness of its role in our lives, the Gaume Jazz team is preparing—with a certain sense of emotion—the 42nd edition of the Gaume Jazz Festival in Rossignol-Tintigny on August 7, 8, and 9, 2026!

Gaume Jazz, an ambitious project dedicated to jazz and its audiences:
The festival has always distinguished itself by upholding certain priorities that have forged a strong, unique, and bold cultural identity:
High-quality jazz & emerging jazz artists;
A culture of discovery;
Stages open to new works by musicians (often young artists from Wallonia-Brussels);
A broader audience for jazz and new audiences;
A festive spirit that combines artistic quality with a family-friendly atmosphere in a rural setting;
A place for professionals to meet and exchange ideas.
A loyal, growing but not excessive audience
Gaume Jazz now has a loyal audience that has grown over the years, yet remains mindful not to become excessive. In Rossignol, several thousand attendees—ranging from discerning jazz enthusiasts to a local mix of young and old, families, passing tourists, and supportive visitors—come together in a rare spirit of camaraderie and a warm, intimate atmosphere. In the 12-hectare park, you can stroll from one stage to another, relaxed and at ease, meet the artists, enjoy local products, catch up with friends, and share the pleasure of precious, stress-free moments in a rural setting close to nature.
