It all started as the story of a handful of jazz musicians who wanted their music to be heard and recognized. It's turned into half a century of shared work that's endowed Belgian jazz of its regal reputation. This year, from September 30th to October 4th, Les Lundis d'Hortense celebrate their 50th anniversary in Brussels, and invite you to join the fun!
Through a varied program weaving cinema, concerts and new cartes blanches, Les Lundis d'Hortense celebrate Belgian Jazz in all its glory, shapes and forms.
Unique soirées will bring us together at the hotspots of Belgian jazz, in Brussels and Wallonia, most notably at Jazz Station, Flagey, Toots Jazz Club, Le Senghor and Le Marni. With one short detour: the magnificent Église Notre-Dame aux Riches-Claires.
