Consenso, Sal La Rocca’s new quintet, celebrates listening, respect and collective creation. Its name, both gentle and powerful, embodies the spirit of a group united by the joy of playing together. Alongside the double bassist, Igor Gehenot, Phil Abraham, Steven Delannoye and Umberto Odone blend their distinctive voices with obvious chemistry. A vibrant, sunny sound, imbued with warmth and freedom. Blending groove, lyricism and Caribbean flair, the group strikes a rare balance.
