Finale B-Jazz Contest 2025

B-Jazz is gearing up for the finals! Six young international jazz bands are heading to Ghent to compete for the ‘Grand Prize Albert Michiels.’ Two Belgian winners from the preliminary rounds will face four international acts. The winner will be awarded international stage opportunities in Spain, Italy, Romania, the Netherlands, and Belgium.

Muziekmozaïek, Jazz at Felix, Rataplan, Pelt Jazz and CC Het SPOOR are joining forces for the B-Jazz International Contest 2025. With this initiative, they aim to provide promising Belgian jazz bands with a springboard to international stages.

Two Belgian finalists were selected through preliminary rounds in Hoeilaart, Harelbeke, Pelt and Antwerp. They will compete in the finals against bands selected via Getxo Jazz (Spain), Saint Louis College of Music (Italy), Conservatorium Maastricht (Netherlands) and the Brașov Jazz & Blues Festival (Romania).

An international jury will judge the performances at Jazz in ’t Park and ultimately select the winner of B-Jazz 2025.
The B-Jazz final is part of the free festival Jazz in ’t Park, which for three days showcases the best of today’s jazz across many subgenres. Discover the full programme at www.jazzintpark.be.
