Saxophonist Vincent Thekal and pianist-composer Fabian Fiorini join forces to revisit the repertoire of Thelonious Monk in their own way, exploring the perspectives offered by the master's music. Presenting their latest album, ‘Monk's Mood’ (Hypnote records), this striking quartet digs deep into the legacy left by this immense creator: a vast repertoire, traps (a little), humour (a lot) and above all freedom and swing!
