ERIC LEGNINI TRIO feat. Dré Pallemaerts (dms) & Thomas Bramerie (cb)

On Friday 8 November, the Jacques Pelzer Jazz Club will be welcoming an exceptional guest in the shape of Eric Legnini! The pianist from Huy has been invited to play all over Europe, but it's been a long (long, long) time since he's played in a Belgian club. At 9pm on 8 November, a very special emotion will be felt when he takes to the stage in what was once Jacques Pelzer's living room. After they met in 1987, Pelzer often welcomed him there to play music and, incidentally, table tennis. Eric learnt a lot from Jacques, who set the course for his early career.

Since the club opened in 2004, Eric Legnini has never performed there. The centenary of Jacques Pelzer's birth, the thirtieth anniversary of the Maison du Jazz and the almost twentieth anniversary of the club mean that this year, his wish and ours together, will come true. He'll be playing in his favourite trio format, with French double bassist Thomas Bramerie and Dré Pallemaerts on sticks and broomsticks, regular companions in various projects.
