EDGES is the rock/jazz project of Guillaume Vierset. Since 2022, they have released 1 full album (The End Of The F***ing World) and 2 live EPs.

Always bubbling and daring tracks. It takes off, it spins, it burns its wings against the spotlights, then it lands gently, like a bird on a branch, calmed by a series of successful loops. Role-playing games at the crossroads of rock, jazz, contemporary noisy, dissonant sonic flirtations, with top-flight musicians.

It is usually recognized by a few melodic lines, whether it is jazz, rock, pop, or even folk. His paw? This writing of contrasts, this oxymoronic poetry contained in each composition and revealed in its careful arrangements and in its assumed fragility, that of the reed which bends without breaking. It’s his way of telling us dreamlike stories, sometimes fluffy, sometimes grating. Guillaume practices all these styles and mixes them brilliantly, a keen and passionate listener of each of them and an inexhaustible composer, day and night.

He moves from one project to another embracing their coexistence which builds his deep musical personality.Both nonchalant and poetic, lively and invigorating, the guitarist likes to take us into his chiaroscuro worlds from which we emerge moved.
