Defoort-da Costa Quartet

DEFOORT/ DA COSTA QUARTET

Bart and Victor have been sharing the Belgian jazz scene

with this project for the past few years. The quartet

immerses itself in Bop and Hard Bop of the 50s and 60s.

The fusion of sounds between tenor saxophone and

electric guitar, as well as the energy of the rhythm section

are the basic ingredients of this group's repertoire, which

includes not only gems written by the great jazzmen but

also features a number of compositions related to the style.
