Attilio Sepe Quartet
- Constituted : 02/12/2024
The quartet was born during Italian saxophonist Attilio Sepe’s stay in Belgium, where he met Italian pianist Marco Marcelletti, Belgian double bassist Emanuel Van Mieghem, and Brazilian drummer Gabriel Moraes. This international meeting gave life to a group with a rich and open musical language, capable of exploring multiple directions through improvisation.
The repertoire ranges from jazz standards to original compositions, reflecting the group's multifaceted identity. The band has performed in some of the most renowned clubs in Belgium and Italy, and has also collaborated with renowned saxophonist Maurizio Giammarco, a key figure on the Italian and international jazz scene.
In 2025, the group released the album "Spellbound" with WoW Records (release date: February 7, 2025), which was previewed during their Italian tour in December 2024.
