Attilio Sepe is internationally regarded as an emerging saxophone talent, known for his unique sound and personal approach to composition.
He began his studies with Raffaele Minale and Giulio Martino at the age of seven. He later pursued classical music studies at the “D. Cimarosa” State Conservatory of Music and jazz studies with Antonio Solimene and Maurizio Giammarco.
He then moved to Siena, where he studied for five years, graduating and specializing in jazz saxophone at the Siena Jazz University. He studied with musicians such as Giovanni Falzone, Alfonso Santimone, Ettore Fioravanti, Roberto Spadoni, Ralph Alessi, Dan Kinzelman, Ziv Ravitz, Jim Black, and Ben Van Gelder.
During his time at Siena Jazz University, he collaborated with Silvia Bolognesi, playing in her quartet “Silvia Bolognesi Young Shouts”, and founded the collective “Parking Attendants”.
In 2021, he won the “Giovani Visionari 2021” award, presented by the National Federation of Italian Jazz.
In 2023, he released “Héritage Normand”, created with Italian saxophonist Maurizio Giammarco and published by WoW Records.
In 2025, he released “Spellbound”, recorded with his quartet and published by WoW Records.
