MAMUTRIO performs an active and interactive jazz style played with lots of joy. The repertoire mainly consists compositions by Piet and Lieven, extended with some standards. The emphasis is put on harmonic and melodic interplay in a rhythmically challenging context with lots of dynamics.

MAMUTRIO was initially launched as Jesse Dockx trio and has already played a dozen concerts. In the meantime, there is a new name for this playfull trio and thanks to Lieve Peeters there is a beautiful logo.

The first CD was released in November 2016 entitled "Primal Existence"
