Trio Perdu presents a unique blend of humor and music, featuring plenty of improvisation and audience participation. They’ll take you on a journey through the first half of the 20th century, to a time when music was more alive than ever before—a moment in history that was, on the one hand, terrible, yet on the other, gave rise to the most beautiful music, art, and architecture. This program focuses on Central Europe. The place where, among others, Django Reinhardt, Kurt Weill, and Nadia Boulanger lived—people who would change the course of music forever.
A performance by these virtuoso musicians is never the same twice and is bursting with energy and playfulness. From jazz to pop and from folk to Gypsy—always full of surprises.
