“Trio time always returns in a ritual and cyclical way. Very few ideas or musical colors resist this form. It allows us to consider music with a very unique balance. For ‘Como as Flores’ – Like flowers in Portuguese, I invite the percussionist Ze Luis Nascimento who, halfway between drums and digital percussion, will bring this essential nuance to my aesthetic today. I also invite double bassist Claude Tchamitchian for his transversal sense of music responding to my compositions open to the worlds of current jazz.
