Frank Vaganée is the artistic director of the best jazz big band in Belgium, the Brussels Jazz Orchestra. He is surrounded by Sam Gerstmans (Philip Catherine, Steve Houben, Rick Margitza, Deborah Brown,…) and Teun Verbruggen (Toots Thielemans, John Ruocco, Nicola Andrioli, Mélanie De Biasio,…). The trio plays a mix of standards from the jazz repertoire and original works. Expect music from Monk, Ornette Coleman, Skulli Sverisson, Frank Vaganée, Mingus and Charlie Parker.
