We thought that our SATURNALES needed a highlight off the beaten track and on the advice of our godfather Henri Texier, we invited Andy Emler and his mega octet, no less!
This orchestra has become in 8 albums and numerous creations and stage performances - since its first incarnation in 1989... - the virtuoso ambassador of French music today.
This music plays with all the labels and gathers as well the amateurs of classical music, contemporary, jazz, or pop-rock.
It can be summed up as follows: the energy of rock and roll, the groove of jazzmen and a clever writing!
Nine musicians on stage but they sound like twenty-five!
Composer-conductor Andy Emler gives the soloists plenty of room and they take it with infectious pleasure, creativity and humour too.
