Otto Kint (°1989) is a bassist and composer from Brussels. In his professional musician's life, he combines two main drives: firstly, creating music, and secondly, bringing together talented and inspired individuals. In 2016, he founded the jazz quintet 'Otto Kintet' and served as the central person of the creative hub Wildernis Strmbk from 2018 to 2022.

As a bassist, he is involved in various musical projects across diverse genres (3'AIN, Leán, Abstract inc, Rvb Quartet, etc.). He has collaborated on over 20 albums and performed on numerous stages within and outside Europe. When composing, he relies on his intuition. He crafts layered yet accessible, timeless music that honors its jazz roots while incorporating influences from other genres.

Otto studied at the conservatories of Brussels and Antwerp under Kris Defoort, Nicolas Thys, Bart Denolf, Christophe Wallemme, John Ruocco, Teun Verbruggen, Ben Sluijs, etc.
He also underwent training as a violin maker and built his own double bass.
