Following the success of his album ‘El camino de los vientos’ (ACT, April 2020), which received international critical acclaim and reached 9 million streams on Spotify, the French cellist based in Valencia (founder of the groups NES, Jerez Texas, Diouke, etc.) presents his new album ‘Voices’, released on the prestigious German label ACT.
Surrounded by his outstanding quartet – Christian Belhomme (keyboards & piano), Léo Ullmann (violin) and Ze Luis Nascimento (percussion) – he invited a series of remarkable voices from around the world to take part in this project.
The compositions bear the distinctive signature of the composer/cellist, blending jazz and classical music, flamenco and world music, while always leaving space for freedom and individual expression.
