The ninth edition of the Confluent Jazz Festival will once again celebrate jazz in all its forms with an eclectic lineup of Belgian and international artists.

During her short time on earth (1893-1918), Lili Boulanger wrote music with a fascinating inner power. Tom Bourgeois' artistic goal has been to draw inspiration from these magnificent compositions, offering a different reinterpretation—sometimes intimate, sometimes more detached—with a touch of jazz and freedom. It is a personal way of bringing music from another century to life today. With Lili, Tom Bourgeois offers us music that is paradoxical, highly structured and free at the same time. It is lively music that reminds us that love transcends genres and years.
