Unique in the world of gypsy jazz, the trio formed by guitarist Samson Schmitt and the two Belgian virtuosos Joachim Iannello (violin) and Johan Dupont (piano) transcends boundaries and genres, blending jazz, chamber music, gypsy melodies, and tango. The trio’s boundless imagination and infectious swing carry the audience through a repertoire composed mainly of original works.
After Rire avec Charlie (2017), the three companions return with La Boîte à Musique — a new, chill, and refined album, as smooth and inviting as the bar of a luxury hotel, where musical chemistry and virtuosity reach their peak.
