Ozaín Quartet stands out with its unique formation of trombone, tenor sax, double bass, and drums, delivering a raw and powerful sound that fosters collective improvisations and diverse grooves, ranging from jazz rock to swing. Since being joined by trumpeter Laurent Blondiau, they now explore their debut album’s concepts as a quintet, enriching their jazz with influences from tango, Indian scales, African rhythms, and even a nod to Baroque music.
