The new quintet “Ola Tunji” is moving in a direction where musical interaction becomes a powerful whole.
They play for love, compassion, joy, serenity as meditations and prayers that bring them back to a deeper humanity in music. Its members began playing together before the summer of 2023 and then united in the passion each felt for the spiritual and musical life of John Coltrane.
