Singer Tutu Puoane and pianist Ewout Pierreux met during a rehearsal in 2003 in Leuven, and have been inseparable ever since. As musical and life partners, they know each other inside and out. The cross-pollination of Puoane's South African roots and Pierreux's piano playing, rooted in classical music and jazz, created a unique mix of African, European and American music traditions, rooted in soul and jazz, their two great common loves.
