Immerse yourself in the warm atmosphere of jazz with the Gaume Jazz d’Automne. Organized on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 8 p.m. in the hall of the Rossignol cultural center, this evening welcomes two groups formed under the sign of friendship for memorable live jazz concerts!
- Vaganée-Gerstmans-Verbruggen 3°
Alto sax Frank Vaganée, double bassist Sam Gerstmans and drummer Teun Verbruggen meet for a unique concert in 2019. Pleasure of improvising on standards or personal compositions with strong bop flavors. Happiness is too strong, the group is born. The essence of jazz is there and, of course, the many surprises too!
This concert is for you if you are a fan of Lee Konitz, Paul Motion, Ornette Coleman, Johnny Hodges, Sonny Rollins, Thelonious Monk, Roland Kirk…

- Nobaban (FR)
Winners of Propulsion Grand-Est, the trio Nobaban offers an opening of jazz to modern and electronic sounds, while respecting tradition.
Bastien Griat (saxophone), Grégoire Kieffer (keyboard) and Juan Roldan (drums), all three from a musical background in the jazz tradition, their music is strongly imbued with a heritage that they love and respect (from Wayne Shorter to Immanuel Wilkins), while adding their respective influences (South American music and electronic music). Constantly evolving, this still recent project builds its musical identity through concerts, and is forged around a real friendship and complementary and varied musical influences.
