After three Belgian preliminary rounds, the B-Jazz International Contest culminates in the grand finale during Jazz in 't Park. On Thursday, September 5th, Friday, September 6th, and Saturday, September 7th, you can catch two finalists each day at the Voorhavenpark in Ghent. In addition to these young talents, the festival showcases the best of contemporary jazz, including its many subgenres—all for free!

Friday, September 6th: Tomer Cohen Trio 🇧🇪 + ELLIOT 🇳🇱
Saturday, September 7th: Igor Senderov Quartet 🇮🇱 🇩🇪 🇮🇹 + Opening Theory 🇷🇴
At the end of the final, the international jury will select the winner of the 'Grand Prize Albert Michiels'. The winner will have the chance to perform on international stages: at the Getxo Jazz Festival (Spain), at the Jamming Festival of Saint Louis College of Music in Rome (Italy), at the Brașov Jazz & Blues Festival (Romania), at the Maastricht Conservatory (Netherlands), and during Jazz Hoeilaart (Belgium).
The goal of the B-Jazz International Contest is to discover, promote, and encourage young, ambitious jazz musicians from around the world. B-Jazz is organized by Muziekmozaïek in collaboration with Jazz in 't Park, as well as regional and international partners.
