DIEDERIK WISSELS & ANA ROCHA Yearn – Album Release

After "Secrecy" (2020), the German-Portuguese singer Ana Rocha and the pianist and composer Diederik Wissels are once again teaming up around this second opus, an encounter between Saturnian piano and celestial voice. Symbiosis, harmony, sensitivity and lyricism are the key words.

But 'Yearn' also benefits from the presence of two other musicians: the trumpeter of Greek origin Andreas Polyzogopoulos and the tenor saxophonist Nicolas Kummert who enrich the harmonies, where appropriate, with all the required gentleness and discretion. Their splendid appearances at an unexpected moment contribute to the dramaturgy of these miniatures by triggering new emotions and enchantments.
