Erwin VANN's second album in a trio is a change of direction for him.
This time ethnic music makes its appearance into the as always warm phrasing of the saxophonist.
Enhanced by a flexible and smooth rhythm section, the compositions take a more relaxed and laid-back feel, as if the whole thing was happening in Africa.
The occasional presence of voices adds to this impression of being in the middle of a village full of colours, where
nobody notices the time passing.
