As far as I remember, I have always loved music, and I liked the music that was played at home, which mainly was: Frank Zappa, Weather Report, Soft Machine and some classical music. I wanted to play the drumset, but somehow I happened to start with piano lessons, which, after all, was a good thing.
Later I ended up at the Gent conservatory to study classical percussion, and the marimba became my favorite instrument.
After that, I went back to the conservatory, in Brussels this time, to learn about jazz vibraphone, which was big fun, and I met a lot of nice people and very fine teachers (Guy Cabay, Richard Rousselet, Pirly Zurstrassen, Michel Hatzigeorgiou, Arnould Massart...).

Now, with my own quartet and trio, I mainly perform my own compositions. The trio (Pc3o) mixes jungle & hip hop grooves with jazz and impro. The quartet (PC Quartet) rather reminds of the jazz tradition, but still, with an open mind.
