Jean-Philippe Collard-Neven

Jean-Philippe Collard-Neven is a musician with very solid credentials as a classical pianist (see his website for details) and as a composer (a.o. for theater, documentary movies, etc...) who more and more likes to venture into the territories of jazz and improvised music.

He developed a long collaboration with bassist Jean-Louis Rassinfosse, whith whom he recorded a couple of duo albums, featuring a.o. some of his compositions.

He now also proposes a quartet with the addition of Fabrice Alleman (saxes, clarinets) and percussionist Xavier Desandre-Navarre. This quartet has recorded its first album in 2010.
