Member of the " EVASION " Big Band (1993-1996). Evasion played essentially Belgian musicians' compositions.
Member of the Sloong jazz quartet (1991-1998). Sloong played in several international jazz festivals (Jazz à Liège, Festival of the Lundis d'Hortense, çà Jazze à Huy) and in clubs (Lion s'Envoile - Liège, Travers, Sound - Brussels,…). He composes, as well as the others members (Alain Pierre and Jean Borlée), many themes for the band. Sloong plays only original compositions.
Plays currently in :
- South Connotation (acoustic world/jazz), only original compositions by members of the band. 2 auto produced cd's :"Looking for Missing Pieces in the Western Continent" - 2009 - and "Sable et Vent" (2018). A third one ("Calor de Outono") will be released in 2024
-Taxi-Brousse: sextet playing swing era- standards (Duke Ellington, Fletcher Henderson, Barney Bigard,...) for Lindy-Hop dancers.
- International Hypersonic Peace Bureau: classic and contemporary standards with a groove.
- For'in One (pianoless quartet, original compositions and contemporary tunes)
- Vayu Quartet ( mix of poetry, songs, african grooves and jazz)
- Les Boucles Absurdes, electro-acoustic music, compositions by J-P Jonckheere
