Guitarist Jean Blaton (aka Jean Beurlys as a racing car pilot) was a talented semi-pro musician, adopted by the pros of the Belgian jazz scene.

His swinging guitar playing was featured on the album "Belgian Big Band" (1972) arranged by Sadi, with some of the best jazz musicians of the time : Edmond Harnie, Herman Sandy, Nicolas Fissette, Richard Rousselet (tp), Johnny Dover, Alex Scorier (saxes), Frans Van Dijck, Marc Mercini (trombones), Johnny Hot (piano), Roger Vanhaverbeke (bass), Freddy Rottier drums), etc...
