Call for artists: Jazz in the Park Competition 2025

Jazz in the Park Competition it’s a three days jazz competition looking just like a festival, in the centre of the city, with young artists from all around the world… The organisers are looking forward to seeing you in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, for the 8th edition of the competition, between September 19th and September 21, 2025.  

WHO CAN APPLY?

• Musicians aged 16-35 (one band member can be over 35).
• Open to jazz, world music, and related genres.

No admission fee required!

Application deadline: April 27, 2025

Preselection results announced: May 20, 2025

PRIZES (A TOTAL OF €27,500!)

1st Prize: 

• • €5,000 cash prize
• • invitation to perform at Jazz in the Park 2026 (€1,500 contract, accommodation and transport)
• • performance at the 2026 Jazz in the Park Competition closing (€2,000 contract, accommodation and transport)

2nd Prize: €3,000

3rd Prize: €1,000

Best Romanian Band: €1,000

Best Original Composition: €500

Three Musicians Special Mentions: €500 each

Audience Award: Music Equipment
