Music club N9 creates stage opportunities for alternative talent. The public seeks, finds and experiences surprising musical discoveries.

We place musicians at the heart of our operation. The organisation works in service of artists to improve their artistic, social and economic position. We tap into musical talent and ensure talent development by providing professional guidance, coaching, education and support. We offer relevant artists a professional stage at the right moment in their career. Music club N9 acts as an indispensable stepping stone for new musicians towards a larger stage. At N9, starting artists can experiment, grow and focus on their further career.

Years of expertise, passion, prospecting and a sense of renewal and deepening guarantee the quality of the programme. We programme national and international artists, various musical styles, intermediate and mixed forms, and promote less obvious genres such as jazz and world music. In this way, we diversify the offer and promote a broad musical horizon.

Music club N9 makes a diverse offer available in changing settings. Musicians are given a place in the programme at club concerts, festivals and master classes. Visitors can experience culture receptively, but can also participate actively in workshops and information sessions.

We always present the various activities in an appropriate context. N9 achieves an optimal presentation context with a professional stage in an intimate setting. This benefits the live experience of artists and visitors.

By collaborating with various cultural and social organisations, we build a network across national borders, with a particular focus on the Euregio Scheldemond. An extensive volunteer force supports the professional team and ensures social and cultural cohesion. In this way, a broad public is connected to the organisation and guided to the activities. We show potential new audiences the way to live concerts in an accessible way and let them discover an alternative range of music.
